CGS TYRES presents its new generation of crane tyres, the Mitas CR-01

In accordance with the company’s long-term strategy, CGS TYRES has launched a new tyre line – the Mitas CR-01. It is a new generation of all-steel radial tyres, designed for the use on mobile cranes.

The Mitas CR-01 provides a wide range of benefits, not only to the company using the tyre on its mobile cranes, but also to the driver and his environment.

The company using the Mitas CR-01 will benefit from low operating costs as a result of the outstanding durability of the tyre: besides high resistance to puncture the all-steel construction offers a reduced rolling resistance and therewith lower fuel consumption. Another benefit of the tyre improving its durability is the regroovable character of the tread pattern.

The design of the Mitas CR-01 provides high comfort to the operator and reduces noise during road journeys by asymmetric tread pattern.

“The Mitas CR-01 offers further features to the users. Especially the open tread blocks provide maximum traction combined with excellent self-cleaning properties”, explains Petr Hala, product manager. “Special bridges link and stabilize the tread blocks.”

The CR-01 is homologated according to ECE R54.

The CR-01 is currently produced in the 445/95R25 174F TL.
