CGS TYRES successfully launches new product Mitas CR-01 at bauma 2010

At this year's bauma, which was held in Munich from 19th to 25th April, CGS TYRES launched an innovation under the Mitas brand - the CR-01 for mobile cranes. The non-directional tread pattern of the Mitas CR-01 all-steel radial tyre, size 445/95 R 25 reduces tyre noise when used on the road. Furthermore the tyre ensures reduction of fuel consumption thanks to lower rolling resistance. Finally CGS TYRES offers with the Mitas CR-01 a crane tyre having higher benefits than most of the tyre competitors in this segment.

CGS TYRES also presented Mitas 25" all-steel OTR radial tyres. The Mitas ERL-20 and Mitas ERL-30 are suitable for use on loaders and graders. The tread patterns ERD-20 and ERD-30 are suitable for articulated dumpers, dumpers and scrapers. The tread pattern of the rugged tyre Mitas ERL-30/ERD-30 was designed first and foremost for use in harsh, stony ground conditions, such as quarries, cement works etc., whilst the high-traction tyre Mitas ERL-20/ERD-20 was developed for loamy soil and sandy ground.

"The presentation of our new product at bauma was a success and CGS TYRES team was also delighted to see that well known international Original Equipment manufacturers equipped an increased number of their machines with Mitas branded tyres”, comments Jaroslav Musil, Sales Director at CGS TYRES.

This year's bauma attracted 415,000 visitors from over 200 countries. The next event in the series will be held once again in Munich in three years' time from 15th to 21st April 2013. CGS TYRES will of course be present at the next bauma edition.
